As I was waking up on March 3rd, I heard the Lord whisper the name; Tekoa.
I know I had heard this word before, but I did not know it's meaning. So I looked up the meaning.
TEKOA is Defined in Hebrew as; Trumpet that is confirmed.
The book of Amos begins with; The words of Amos, one of the shepherds of Tekoa – the vision he saw concerning Israel two years before the earthquake, when Uzziah was king of Judah, and Jeroboam son of Jehoash was king of Israel.
2. He said,
” The LORD Roars from Zion
and thunders from Jerusalem;
the pastures of the shepherds dry up
and the top of Carmel withers.”
3. This is what the LORD says:
For three sins of Damascus,
even for four, I will not relent…
As I continued on reading through Amos, the Lord brought my attention to the very specific names and places that He spoke of. In them is the pattern for a time that is coming and yet has already begun.
“For three sins of Damascus, even for four, I will not relent…“
For three sins even for four is a way of saying, “more than enough.”
This phrase is repeated five times naming different cities and people groups who have carried out egregious sins with no fear of reproach before the LORD.
These passages in Amos 1 through 5 are an indictment of foriegn nations and implies the LORD'S Sovereignty over ALL.
Amos indicts the neighboring peoples for war crimes. As is written in the OXFORD ANNOTATED BIBLE; All the nations discussed in Amos 1 through 5 were either subject to or allies of the Davidic and Solomaic monarchy, bound by treaties to which the LORD would have been a witness and now was acting as enforcer of the treaty curses.
The word “threshing” was often used to symbolize martial brutality.
Hazel and Ben-Hadad were Syrian rulers.
Four cities of the philistines are condemned for their slave trafficking with Edom.
(Edom goes back to Jacob and Esau).
The following is the prophetic word that The LORD released through me;
“Hear O people, Hear the word of the LORD; the one who is My Trumpet that I have confirmed, is My anointed one. The voice of the LORD roars from Zion!
This is what the LORD says;
'To those who threshed MY witnesses, having iron teeth, I will send fire on them; for the LORD has seen what they have done to MY witnesses.
The fortresses of their sons shall be broken down. The gate that is the eyes of the east, I will destroy. The ruler in the valley of wickedness, and the one who holds the scepter of bliss in the “house of bliss”, those people who are in the high – elevated places shall go into a fortress, a strong city, but I will set fire on her walls – and consume her fortresses, because she took captive whole communities and sold them to edom – spreading them widley. For I will destroy this king of diffusion and theft, and the one who holds the scepter
in the seat of worship for Astarte (Principality).
I will turn MY hand against those who have torn away MY people from ME!
Till the last of those who have wallowed and rolled in their filth are dead! (And make them barren). For the one who is red persuaded his brother with a sword and slaughtered women of the land because his anger raged continually, and his fury flamed unchecked.
Because of this I will send fire on the right hand that will consume the fortresses where they are enclosed. For the builder of these fortresses ripped open the pregnant women on the Mount of witnesses, in order to extend his borders. I will set fire to those fortresses that will consume them.
Amid war cries on the day of battle amid violent winds on a stormy day her king will go up in exile. He and his officials together, says The LORD.
This is an indictment on the foreign nations who interfered with our elections, and who have committed human rights violations, war crimes; against their own people!
All of those indicted, including in the senate and house , also governors and local governments… who are subject to allegiances of subordination to foriegn governments and dark forces, who have bound themselves to these treaties to which the LORD Your God has witnessed – and now the LORD, Almighty is the enforcer of the curses associated with these treaties that have taken place in back room deals, money laundering, illegal trafficking of children and slander, defamation and assacination of character of the ones whom The LORD has called righteous'
This is the word of the LORD,
“Watch as I EXPOSE the United Nations; for they have been bought at a price.
For every bit of the price they have been paid, they will receive two fold in trouble.
WATCH as those countries whose leadership sold them for a shekel – struggle to find any wheat. They have been sold for chaff and their fortunes shall be blown away in the whirlwind.
WATCH China and North Korea, says the LORD;
A reckoning spirit is coming upon them . One will fall, one will become small.
WATCH the gateway of the United States.
She stands for liberty, but her children are being besieged by violence.
Those who are children of the LORD, call on MY NAME to be mighty to save!
For, I relented on Nineveh. Ask ME to spare the people and deal with the ones who deny ME. Though they think of themselves as great in the sight of their fellow conspirators; imagining themselves as great princes and royalty, they are but chafe on MY threshing floor!
Their MERRY MAKING MOCKERYshall be their unraveling.
Woe to those who have partnered with darkness to harm the little ones and to destroy MY righteous ones. Woe to those who hate the one who reproves in the gate, and hate the one who speaks the truth. Therefore, because they have trampled on the poor and have taken from them levies of grain – which they have used to build houses of hewn stone; but they shall not remain in them. They have planted vineyards, but they shall not drink their wine. For I, The LORD, know how many your sins – you who afflict the righteous who take a bribe and push aside the needy at the gate.
Therefore, the prudent will keep silent at such a time. For it is an evil time.
For the evil do not understand JUSTICE, but those who SEEK the LORD understand it completely.
This is the word of The LORD, and it shall be accomplished!”
Please be in prayer for these nations to repent. including the United States. there is blood on our hands from abortion and trafficking of children and men and women.
